Image is for reference only- As this coin is a circulating issue and is over 10 years old. Expect imperfections such as oxidization toning, and minor scratching. However, the coins in these packs would achieve an almost uncirculated to lower uncirculated grade, if professionally graded. A lot of these older circulating issue coins were never released in Uncirculated products by the R.A.M. So this pack might well be, 1 of the best grades you can get this coin in for your collection.
Struck for just one year, the 1966 Silver Round is Australia's first 50c - and the nation's only issued precious metal decimal coin. This coin was the initially intended design for the fifty cent. However the price of silver in the market went up and this coin still had a content of 80% Silver. The Royal Australian Mint quickly realized the change in market dynamic on the materials to produce the coin, therefore they recalled it and attempted remove as many as they could from circulation. To the lucky collectors they can still be found. Or purchased in this fine uncirculated grade right here.
