Image is for reference only- As this coin is a circulating issue and is over 10 years old. Expect imperfections such as oxidization toning, and minor scratching. However, the coins in these packs would achieve an almost uncirculated to lower uncirculated grade, if professionally graded. A lot of these older circulating issue coins were never released in Uncirculated products by the R.A.M. So this pack might well be, 1 of the best grades you can get this coin in for your collection.
60 years after the end of the Second World War, the Royal Australian Mint issued a touching tribute in the form of a commemorative 50c coin. That coin ‐ the End of WWII 60th Anniversary 2005 50c ‐ isn't just beautifully designed, it's also a one-year-only type. This makes it critical for a complete collection.
This Australian legal tender issue bears a superb reverse motif, designed and sculpted by Wojciech Pietranik. The design is inspired by a photograph from the Australian War Memorial of a burial at El Alamein in 1942.
